The Clamp Family

In rail maintenance and trackwork. its main purpose is to hold and secure sections of rail together, particularly in situations such as rail joints, broken rails, or defective rail ends, while repairs or permanent fixings are prepared or carried out.

In rail maintenance, clamps are used to secure rails to sleepers, ensure proper alignment, support joint welding, and perform emergency repairs. They stabilize rails during installation, prevent rail creep, and assist in lifting and handling rails. Clamps are essential for maintaining track integrity, enabling precise adjustments, and ensuring safety during repairs and operations.

Defect Fishplate

Defect Protection Fishplate 800mm

At 800mm long, the Defect Fishplate is engineered to eliminate the need for removing clips or repositioning the sleeper when a defect is identified through ultrasonic testing or routine inspection.

A fishplate, also known as a rail joint or splice bar, connects two sections of railroad track. Fishplates are used to keep the rails aligned and spaced properly, which allows trains to pass safely and smoothly.

Broken slide chair bolts have long caused disruptions on switch and crossing layouts, but the First Bolt provides a dependable solution to keep operations running smoothly. It is quick and straightforward to install, fits all slide chair positions with ease, and features a full-section design that allows precise gauge adjustment. Additionally, it can be removed and replaced without the need to disconnect signalling equipment, making maintenance faster and more efficient.
